I really like this wine....but it's not a great representation of syrah. BIG tannins (even after 2 hours in the decanter), relatively big fruit, noticable tobacco notes, sour cherry, cassis, and a touch of raisin. Not at all in the French style...tastes VERY Chilean, if you're familiar. I'll look for this one again.
